Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This policy sets out what Grade A Humanizer (the "Service") is for and what it may not be used for. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and using the Service means you agree to follow it.

1. What the Service is for

Grade A Humanizer is a writing-improvement tool. Give it text you wrote, or that you otherwise have the right to edit — a rough draft, a translation, a first pass from an AI assistant — and it rewrites the wording: sentence rhythm, repetition, awkward phrasing, stiff constructions, padding.

It is an editing aid. It does not do your thinking, your research or your analysis, it does not check facts, and it does not judge whether a piece of writing is accurate, appropriate or permitted where you plan to use it. That stays with you.

2. What you may do

Use the Service on text you own or are authorised to edit. For example:

In every case the finished text is still yours to check and to stand behind.

3. What you may not do

Do not use the Service:

4. The rules that apply to you are yours to check

Institutions, employers, journals and clients take very different positions on AI assistance: some allow it, some allow it with disclosure, some forbid it. We cannot know which applies to you.

Read the policy that governs your work before you submit anything — your academic-integrity code, your employer's handbook, your publisher's guidelines — and follow it. If it says to disclose the use of an editing or AI tool, disclose it. If you are unsure, ask your instructor, supervisor or editor first.

Students: when in doubt, ask first. A short question to your instructor costs nothing; an integrity finding is expensive. Nothing on this site is permission to break your institution's rules.

5. No guarantees about detection tools

AI-writing and similarity detectors are run by third parties. They change without notice and are well documented to flag writing that was entirely human.

We make no promise or prediction about what any detector will report about any text, before or after it passes through the Service. Do not use the Service expecting a particular score, and do not treat a detector's verdict as evidence that your use complies with your institution's rules. Third-party names on this site are used only to describe or compare; they imply no affiliation or endorsement, and all trademarks belong to their owners.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit; we claim none. You confirm you have the right to submit it and that doing so breaches nobody's rights and no duty of confidence you owe. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Reporting a problem

If you think someone is using the Service in breach of this policy — including infringing your copyright or misusing your personal information — email grade.a.q8@gmail.com with enough detail for us to investigate. We review every report.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and respond as we think appropriate: a warning, limited or removed access to features, rate-limiting, or suspending or closing an account. Serious or repeated breaches, and any use that exposes us or other users to legal risk, may end an account immediately and without notice. Where the law requires it we may report unlawful activity to the authorities. Termination for a breach does not entitle you to a refund beyond what our Refund Policy and the law provide.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service and the surrounding rules change. The date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

10. Contact

Unsure whether your intended use is allowed? Email grade.a.q8@gmail.com and ask — we would rather answer the question than enforce the rule.
