Support & FAQ
What does Grade A Humanizer do?
It rewrites AI-sounding text so it reads more naturally and human, and it lets you scan documents for AI-written content.
Do you store my text or my results?
No. Your input, the humanized output, and detection results are processed in memory and discarded after each request. We don't save your documents.
Do I need to verify my email to sign up?
Yes — when you register with an email and password we send a 6-digit code to confirm it's really you. Signing in with Google skips this step, since Google already verified your email.
Which browsers are supported?
Any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and mobile browsers. Internet Explorer is not supported.
How do I get help or contact support?
Use the Live Support chat on this page — just type your message on the right and our team will get back to you, usually within a few hours. You can also join our Discord from the sidebar for community help and updates.
What's the difference between Model 1 and Model 2?
Model 1 (the default) is balanced — it reads naturally and stays undetectable, so it's the best choice for most text. Model 2 is tuned purely to stay undetected, so reach for it if a result still gets flagged as AI. Either way, you can run “Make all green” to clean up any sentences that are still highlighted.
I humanized my text, but it's still being detected as AI. Why?
Some sentences are tougher than others. Switch to Model 2 (tuned purely to beat detectors), run “Make all green” to re-pass any sentences that are still flagged, or humanize again to explore different phrasings.
How do I get the most undetectable result?
Start with Model 1 — it's the best all-round choice. If anything still gets flagged, switch to Model 2 and run “Make all green” to clean up the remaining sentences until everything reads as human.
What do the green, yellow, and red colours mean?
After humanizing, each sentence is colour-coded by how human it reads: green is human, yellow is borderline, and red still looks AI. “Make all green” re-passes the yellow and red sentences for you.
The output is hard to read or feels off. How do I fix it?
Humanize again to try a different phrasing, or switch between Model 1 and Model 2. It protects your facts, names, and numbers, so it won't invent details.
What is “Make all green”?
It keeps re-rewriting only the sentences still flagged (yellow/red) until they read as human (green), they stop improving, or a safe limit is reached. It doesn't count against your daily humanization limit.
Does it change my facts, names, or numbers?
It aims to keep your meaning. It will not introduce new names or numbers — if it can't rewrite a sentence faithfully, it leaves it unchanged.
Does it remove dashes?
Yes — the humanizer strips dash punctuation (which AI tends to overuse) from the output, while keeping real compound-word hyphens like “well-known”.
How long does humanizing take?
A few seconds for short text, and longer for full documents, since everything runs on our own GPU. Model 1 is the faster of the two styles.
Can I humanize a PowerPoint?
Yes — open the PowerPoint Humanizer and drop in a single .pptx file. We rewrite only the longer sentences and bullets (more than 5 words) so they read as human, and leave your slide titles, short lines, and exact formatting — layout, fonts, colours and bullets — untouched. You get a brand-new file back; your original is never changed. It's available on the Standard and Premium plans.
How does the AI detector work?
It's a model calibrated on real Turnitin reports. For uploaded files it scans each sentence multiple times (alone and within several context sizes) and averages the results for stability.
Is the detection the same in the Humanizer and the file scan?
Both use the same trained model. The file scan runs a deeper, multi-pass, context-aware analysis for the most thorough results.
How accurate is it?
Our detector is calibrated on real Turnitin reports and scans every document in multiple passes, making it highly reliable at identifying AI-written content.
What files can I upload?
Word (.doc/.docx), PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx), and PDF. Whatever you upload is converted to a clean PDF, and the downloadable report keeps your layout and figures and highlights the parts detected as AI.
Does the report keep my formatting and figures?
Yes — highlights are drawn directly onto your original document, so your formatting, figures, and page count are preserved.
Who can use the GPTZero check?
The GPTZero check is on the Standard (10,000 words/month) and Premium (20,000 words/month) plans, up to 3,000 words per check. It isn't included on the Free or Basic plans — upgrade to Standard or Premium to use it.
What plans are available?
Free ($0), Basic ($9.99/mo), Standard ($14.99/mo) and Premium ($24.99/mo). Higher plans raise your daily humanizations and words-per-humanize, and add the GPTZero check, the PowerPoint Humanizer, and priority support. See the Pricing & Plans page for the full comparison.
Is it free to use?
Yes — the Free plan lets you humanize up to 150 words per day, no card needed. Upgrade any time for higher limits and extra tools.
Do I need a paid plan for the Turnitin scan?
No. The Turnitin scan is a separate pay-per-scan add-on at $4.99 per report — you buy it on any plan, and it isn't bundled into a subscription. Premium members get one free scan included.
Who can use the PowerPoint Humanizer?
The PowerPoint Humanizer is included with the Standard and Premium plans. On the Free and Basic plans it's visible but locked — upgrade to Standard or Premium to use it.
What does Premium include?
$24.99/mo for unlimited humanizations per day, up to 2,000 words per humanize, 20,000 GPTZero words a month, the PowerPoint Humanizer, priority support, and one free Turnitin scan.
What are the daily limits?
Free: 150 words per day total. Basic: 15 humanizations a day, up to 1,000 words each. Standard: 50 a day, up to 1,500 words each. Premium: unlimited, up to 2,000 words each. Paid plans have no daily word cap.
Is there a word limit per humanize?
Yes — Free 150, Basic 1,000, Standard 1,500, and Premium 2,000 words per single humanize. If your text is over the limit, split it up or upgrade your plan.
Does “Make all green” count against my daily limit?
No. Re-passing the flagged sentences with “Make all green” is part of refining one humanization and doesn't use extra daily credits.
Can I make a new free account to get more usage?
We'd ask you not to. Limits keep the service fast and fair for everyone — please upgrade your plan if you need more.
How do I upgrade my plan?
